- Client: Bates Pan Gulf (BPG), Dubai
Project Overview
The Gulf News Sales Enablement Platform was developed in collaboration with Bates Pan Gulf, Dubai, to transform how Gulf News sales representatives present advertising opportunities and manage client engagements.
The platform serves as a centralized digital ecosystem that enables sales teams to showcase available advertising solutions, campaign opportunities, media placements, and promotional packages to prospective clients. Through an intuitive interface, sales representatives can create tailored proposals, guide clients through available advertising options, and facilitate slot bookings directly through the platform.
In addition to the client-facing experience, the solution includes a comprehensive administrative portal that allows content management, user administration, proposal tracking, and overall platform governance. To further improve accessibility and mobility, a dedicated Android application was developed, providing seamless access to the platform through a mobile-friendly web-view experience.
The result is a streamlined digital sales workflow that enhances productivity, improves customer engagement, and accelerates the advertising booking process.
Our Approach
Understanding Business Requirements
Our team worked closely with Gulf News and Bates Pan Gulf to understand the existing sales process, identify operational challenges, and define a digital-first solution that would simplify client interactions while empowering the sales team.
Designing a User-Centric Experience
The platform was designed with a focus on usability, ensuring that sales representatives could quickly navigate advertising products, present media opportunities, and generate proposals during client meetings. The user experience was optimized for both desktop and mobile environments to support on-the-go sales activities.
Building a Scalable Platform
A modular architecture was adopted to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability. The platform was separated into dedicated frontend, backend, and administration layers, enabling efficient content management and future feature enhancements without disrupting ongoing operations.
Content & Proposal Management
A dedicated administration panel was developed to manage advertising inventory, promotional content, user accounts, and incoming proposals. This centralized management system allows administrators to monitor platform activity, update content instantly, and maintain complete visibility over sales opportunities.
Mobile Accessibility
To support field sales teams, an Android application was developed using a web-view implementation, allowing users to access the complete platform experience from mobile devices while reducing maintenance overhead and ensuring feature consistency across platforms.
